Restoration and conversion specialist City & Country Group’s development, The Manor at Herringswell, near Newmarket, has won a Gold Award at the coveted New Homes Garden Awards 2007.
The Manor was awarded a Gold Award in the ‘Best Communal Garden’ category. The award aims to recognise the housebuilder that has created the very best outdoor living environment for shared use in an urban or rural setting.
Tim Sargeant, Chief Executive of City & Country Group, comments: “We are extremely proud to have received this award. We have created a visually stunning communal garden, a large part of which has been inspired by the authentic Japanese temple that is part of this unique development. Features include a Japanese pond, soothing waterfall and authentic stone bridge, all designed to give residents an outdoor space they can really enjoy.”
Set within 8.4 acres of glorious grounds, The Manor and its surrounding buildings are being painstakingly restored and converted into 53 houses and apartments.
The tranquil setting in the Suffolk countryside belies the fact that The Manor is located just 15 minutes (approximately) from the world famous horse racing town of Newmarket, 25 minutes (approximately) from the vibrant university city of Cambridge and just a 50 minute drive (approximately) from Stansted airport.
Prices for current availability are from £215,000 in the Manor House to £525,000 for a three bedroom house in the Japanese Temple. Viewing is by appointment only. For further information, contact City & Country Group on telephone: 01279 818 900 or visit: www.herringswellmanor.co.uk
